The Town of Highland Lake Library is located in the front part of Town Hall. Once upon a time, this area was actually an old garage. A new garage was constructed and the old location was renovated to house the library! Funded by the Town and through donations, the library is home to over one thousand books. The library averages adding 25 new books a month. You're likely to find many of the current best sellers in the library!
The library has an "honor system." There are no library cards. There are no late fees. Books are signed out and you can keep it until you finish it. If the book is not returned within a reasonable time, readers will receive a call to remind them to return it as soon as they are finished with it.
The library is open Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In the summer, it is also open on Saturdays when the Town Hall office is open.
